The acquisition of Rock Power Connections means Mitie can provide new connections to the electric grid, high-voltage assets renewals and end-to-end electric vehicle charging infrastructure solutions. We can help you meet the rise in electrical demand as you move your operations towards net zero, in close collaboration with our other decarbonisation-focused businesses, including G2 Energy and Custom Solar.

Operating across the UK, Rock Power Connections plays a key part in the rollout of the UK’s renewable energy and battery storage sector. It installs the connections and builds primary substations, up to 132kv, for both industrial and commercial customers.

With increasing demand for rapid, high-voltage EV chargers and new connections to the grid, Rock Power Connection’s expertise builds on our existing EV infrastructure capabilities to make sure our customers have the right cabling and power systems in place to support their EV transition ambitions.

High-voltage connections

We’re specialists in designing and installing electricity supplies, for the change of use of a building or a new development, from low voltage up to 132kV.

Building Network Operator (BNO) services

Our team delivers a full design and installation service for electrical connections to residential developments and mixed-use developments where individually metered supplies are required.

EV charging infrastructure

We provide an end-to-end service, managing DNO connections and EV charging hubs, including design and installation of substations, transformers, the low voltage network, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) communications.

Distribution Network Operator (DNO) services
